St Aloysius’ College - Shirt Amnesty 2009
During
Spring 2009 pupils of St Aloysius College, Glasgow were asked to donate their
old football shirts. They collected approximately 75 children’s football
shirts as well as some shorts and tracksuits.
The photos below give an idea of how many shirts were donated and where they will end up. A big thank you goes out to all the pupils and staff at St Aloysius College who put time, effort, and football shirts into the project. Children in Africa will be wearing these shirts later this summer - it will be better than any Christmas they've ever had.
From Glasgow to Kampala, Uganda.
